Tree Replacement
The DDA replaced over 100 downtown trees in fiscal year 2008, 86 in 2007 and 59 in 2008. Since most of them were dead ash trees, replacement trees were carefully selected from an assortment of 9 different tree species to encourage greater tree diversity.
