Clues
Nadine and the UFO
Surrounded by towers, I look up to the sky.
From my view on South U, they look very high.
Beam me up from this bench, I want to leave quick!
Let’s soar over the Diag, the streets, and the brick.
What is under Nadine?
Nadine and the Companionable Ficus
If I had a Nickel for every game that I played,
I’d have zero nickels, though I’m in an arcade.
My plant likes the sun and faces the east,
We avoid the west where it shines the least.
The ficus is placed on a ____?
Nadine and the Fuzzy Slippers
We often visit my friends, Thom and Will.
We like to surprise them and sit very still,
Behind a window that only shows stairs,
and rumbling vehicles parked in squares.
What color are the fuzzy slippers?
Nadine and the Bookwyrm
We found little nooks to read our little books.
We looked under shelves, we sat under trees,
but found the perfect spots across from the numbers 343.
How many books do Nadine and the bookwyrm have?
Nadine and the Opossum-Mouse Network
Hello, can you hear me? I’m trying to call.
There are only exits on this wall!
We found the way out, please help us in.
We went left by Ashley, then past the Grotto, then left again.
What are they using to talk to each other?
Nadine and the Flying Farm
At Liberty and 2nd, there is a lovely little stop,
filled with people, and coffee, and produce, and crops.
We fly here often, and always come back
to sit in the corner and eat our snacks.
What will they eat?
Nadine and the Professorial Hamster
Hi Ashley! Hi Ann!
Today we’re observing, as best as we can.
We watch cars come, and we watch cars go.
They stay for hours, while we watch between towers.
How many papers does the hamster have?
Nadine and the Sick Day Delivery
As red giant engines make their way out of doors,
I’m searching to find my favorite carnivore.
He stares at the Hall, wistfully from the bricks,
As he sighs and remembers his favorite fire tricks.
What is Nadine delivering?
Nadine and the Squirrel
On Wednesday and Saturday, we like to come out
to see what all the hustle and bustle is about.
Vendors lined up, straight as an arrow,
all down the aisles, right across Sparrow.
How many acorns does the squirrel have?
Nadine and the Wallflower Dragon
We aren’t lost! We’re by Found,
watching people near the ground.
We see and we listen
as people go by Miss Kim’s kitchens.
What is the dragon’s eye made from?

About Unseen Adventures in Ann Arbor
About the Artist
David Zinn has been creating original artwork in and around Ann Arbor, Michigan since 1987. For more than twenty years, he freelanced for a wide variety of commercial clients while simultaneously sneaking “pointless” art into the world at large.
His professional commissions included theatrical posters, business logos, educational cartoons, landfill murals, environmental superheroes, corporate allegories and hand-painted dump trucks. Meanwhile, he indulged his personal creativity using bar coasters, restaurant placemats, cake icing, and snow.
